As a system variant, Multicall safe combines the technologically secure features of the multicall MP2 bus system at ward level with the flexibility of modern IP systems for cross-ward structures. At the same time, conventional old systems from recent decades can be combined with new construction phases and integrated into new structures.
The previous system line (Seriobus) is replaced by an IP network, and the previous limit of 59 wards per system is now increased to up to 255 wards. IP networking creates
any number of voice connections between the wards.
The core of this structure is an IP ward interface (IP-SI) instead of the otherwise used ward control centers (SZ) for data and voice transmission.
The IP ward interface integrates a ward set up using bus technology into an IP network that links the wards together.
